Margo Marasa
MPH, BSN, RN
Margo is a graduate of University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration with an emphasis in gerontology. She attended graduate school at University of Illinois Chicago and received her Masters in Public Health with a focus on Health Administration. Margo began her career working in administration in nursing homes. Shortly after she began her career, Margo decided to go back to school to pursue a nursing degree. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Resurrection University.
Margo has a passion for helping people understand and navigate the confusing healthcare system that exists today. Margo has 20 years of experience working in nursing facilities and most recently was the Chief Operating Officer where she oversaw a portfolio of nursing home and rehabilitation facilities, and assisted living facilities. She worked with hospitals establishing post acute rehabilitation programs within the facilities. Margo’s expertise comes from her experience as a social worker, administrator, operator, working with accountable care organizations, local hospitals and doctors’ offices. She understands the various insurance options that exist for adults and strives to help all her clients feel comfortable with their care and empowered to make their care decisions.
“For as long as I can remember, I have always been the resource for friends and family when it comes to their healthcare questions. Helping others understand the complexities of healthcare today has become a passion of mine. I believe that everyone should leave their doctor’s appointments with a complete understanding of their plan of care. I started this company so that I can make my clients feel heard when it comes to their healthcare needs.”

Amanda Gonzalez
MSN, RN
Amanda is a masters prepared nurse, receiving her degree in Nursing Education from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Amanda has been a nurse for over 15 years with experience in a variety of different settings. Most recently, Amanda has been a nurse care manager in the insurance and hospital settings.
Amanda is compassionate and seeks to improve the lives of others through education, advocacy, and listening. She believes that clear communication and active listening are key factors to success, and utilizes these skills to ensure proper care for patients and their families..

Amanda is a Chicago native, wife, and mother of two. Amanda is passionate about lifelong learning, problem solving, and spreading kindness.
Bettina Carlson
MA
Bettina has been a Care Manager and Patient Advocate since 2018 and is known for her warmth, sharp intuition, and ability to truly listen, making advocacy feel approachable and empowering. Originally from Germany and with a Master’s Degree in American Studies, Political Science, and Cultural Anthropology, she understands how systems function and how to navigate them effectively. She combines critical thinking with a holistic, compassionate approach to ensure that every client receives individualized, thoughtful support that honors their unique needs and circumstances.
“I am a dedicated Patient Advocate and Care Manager who believes that every individual deserves to be seen, heard, and supported in their healthcare journey beyond their diagnosis. Drawing from my own experiences—supporting my mother through early menopause and cancer, advocating for my father with dementia, and navigating my own adrenal health challenges—I bring deep empathy and intuition to my work. I take a holistic approach to advocacy, considering not just medical needs but also emotional well-being, lifestyle, and personal preferences. ”
Bettina is passionate about ensuring that her clients, especially those with cognitive decline, mental health challenges, and chronic conditions, have a voice in their care and receive the dignity and attention they deserve.
Estelle Mare
BA, JD, CFMD
Estelle, as the Chief Operating Officer and Marketing Director of Allegiance Patient Advocates, plays a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance patient advocacy services while ensuring efficient operations. Her expertise as a seasoned marketing strategist and account leader is particularly valuable in this dual role.
With a business and law degrees, Estelle contributes as the backbone of the business. She loves a challenge especially when it takes the work of an entire team to deliver on a big project. It gives her joy to let people shine through their contributions and get results that make the business thrive.
“I enjoy maximizing current products, campaigns and projects – taking something that already exists to the next level comes very natural to me. Because of this, I often worked in the startup sections of the business or taking over an existing product’s marketing with the deliverable of making it great.”

Rosemarie Bosshardt
BSN, RN
Rose has over 37 years working as a healthcare professional with clinical expertise across the healthcare continuum beginning with Emergency Department through Discharge Planning in the Acute care setting. She is passionate about improving the lives of patients as they address their health care needs. Rose seeks to streamline healthcare navigation and improve the quality of care options for her patients and their families.
She immigrated to the U.S. from Peru when she was a toddler. Rose grew up moving all around the United States with her family, until she visited Chicago and, fell in love the with city and its people. Thirty five years later, she still calls Chicago home and shares her life in this fabulous city with her husband and their dog.
“Coming from a multicultural family, I have been translating since childhood. Carefully communicating health needs is critical to healthy outcomes. In this role I am able to pull from my time in Case Management and the Emergency Department where I spent most of my career and use those experiences to translate the medical world to find consensus for patient’s medical goals. ”
